On 22 September 2024 I spent some more time watching the paragliders on the clifftops at Sandringham. It was quite a blustery wind, that appeared to be slightly off the ideal direction for this site, making it quite difficult for people to launch. These are so much easier to move and set up then the hang gliders I used to fly!
While walking along the coast path this morning, we saw a couple of paragliders in the air above the cliffs between Sandringham beach and Edwards beach. The Westerly wind of around 10 - 12 Knots was almost perfect for them.
Every time we go for a walk along the cliff tops in Sandringham we see something amazing! Last weekend we were able to watch a couple of paragliders launching from one of the open spaces and soar along the cliffs.
