We do not allow telnet access as it has proven to be a security risk.
Be assured however, this simply means that your files and site, are safer from hackers than they would otherwise be.For the same reason we don't offer any UNIX shell access.
You can still CHMOD files via your FTP client. See our FTP page for details.
